Anestesiar a crueldade, o sofrimento, a dor que assola a cada vida negra que se vai vítima da violência, da injustiça e do racismo é com certeza um desejo constante. Mas ao mesmo tempo é necessário não deixar que estes fatos caiam no esquecimento, não deixar que essas vidas sejam enterradas fisicamente e também no tempo, tornando-se apenas mais um número na estatística. Assim, a artista enuncia seus nomes para que não sejam apagados. Declara suas vidas e suas mortes para dar significado à essa memória e torna-la presente e simbolicamente vivente.
Na performance Brado, ao som de batidas do coração e tiros, a artista caminha e enuncia repetidamente o nome de diversas pessoas vítimas da violência policial e racial no Brasil, ao mesmo tempo em que carrega e distribui 111 rosas. A ação é realizada continuamente por um determinado período de tempo.

Anesthetizing the cruelty, the suffering, the pain that desolates every black life that is victim of violence, injustice and racism is certainly a constant desire. In the performance Yell, to the sound of heart beats and shots, the artist walks and repeatedly enunciates the name of several people victims of the police and racial violence in Brazil, at the same time that she carries and distributes 111 roses. The action is performed continuously for a certain period of time.
